The Hub M3 redefines smart home automation with its commitment to privacy and local operations, requiring no internet or hub. It offers versatile connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi and PoE, and includes a 360° IR blaster that connects your AC to Matter and adapts to real-time temperatures from the weather sensor. As a multi-protocol hub, it integrates perfectly with Aqara devices and for the first time third-party Matter ensures privacy and effortless configuration.
Multi-protocol hub with material bridge: the M3 is a versatile hub that supports Aqara Zigbee and thread devices. (Please refer to the Aqara website for a list of Aqara Zigbee devices exposed to the material) Integrate third-party devices into the Aqara Home app (currently limited to select device types, expands with time). As a Matter Bridge, it exhibits existing Aqara Zigbee devices Matter compatible apps such as Apple Home. Supports up to 127 thread/Zigbee devices (repeater required).
On-board Compatibility and Local Automation The M3 serves as a hub edge that prioritizes local control and automation. After integration, replace existing Aqara hubs by changing the automations between them in local operations (*Some cloud-based notifications always require the Internet). Easy to update, supports migration of Zigbee devices from older Aqara hubs. (Reconfiguration required for Matter and HomeKit; cloud integrations like Alexa retain all configurations)
Intelligent IR blaster with feedback and learning: The 360° IR launcher not only sends commands, but also delivers accurate status updates by detecting traditional remote use. Connect the IR air conditioners to Matter, works like an AC thermostat when paired with a Aqara temperature and humidity sensor. (Note: only one AC device can be exposed to the material. Function may vary depending on Matter integration app. For Apple Home exposure, use matte integration instead of HomeKit)
Wireless and Wired Connectivity: Provides wired and wireless solutions, the M3 offers dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) with advanced WPA3 security and a power connection over Ethernet (PoE).
