The JBL Professional Pro SoundBar PSB-2 is a commercial grade 2.0 channel soundbar, designed specifically for hotel rooms, cruise staterooms, meeting spaces, and classrooms. As an evolution in sound bar technology, it is designed to deliver focused room audio while minimizing sound transfer to neighboring rooms. Tuned specifically for the human voice, the PSB-2’s front-facing speaker delivers significantly improved fidelity through internal TV speakers. Enhanced clarity at low volume levels also ensures users can hear clearly without needing to unnecessarily increase volume and possibly disturb other rooms. A 2-position volume limiter switch adds additional volume limiting capability. To support the most popular sources, HDMI and Bluetooth digital inputs are included, and a single source control button on the top of the speaker makes switching between sources easy. For applications requiring analog only input needs, the JBL PSB-1 soundbar is also available. Automatic Bluetooth pairing management and the ability to update the Bluetooth name of each PSB-2 can be useful when managing multiple PSB-2s. With professional-grade materials and construction, the PSB-2’s durable exterior is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday commercial use, but is also easy to clean. To prevent tampering, a locking plate is available to hide an available service port. Room-focused audio – The front speaker on the PSB-2 offers enhanced fidelity over internal TV speakers. Explicitly concentrates acoustic energy forward into the room and away from the wall on which it is installed to avoid sending unwanted audio to adjacent rooms. Improved sound quality at low volume levels also ensures users can hear clearly without needing to increase the volume and needlessly disturb neighboring rooms and spaces.
EFFORTLESS BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY AND CONTROL – Automatic Bluetooth pairing management allows the PSB-2 to disconnect and forget devices after a set time for future pairing availability. It also allows customization of the Bluetooth beacon ID to match the room it is installed in.
Simplified HDMI input and CEC soundbar control: The PSB-2 soundbar makes it easy to set up for audio passthrough from the source device to the TV or ARC directly from the TV. It also supports control of the power, mute and volume of the TV, without the need for additional setup.
